"Lasting Affection"

"I thought the invitations were out of the ordinary! I mean they were absolutely gorgeous! I have NEVER seen an invitation quite like it. She did a FABULOUS job! No wonder she is in the field she is in, she has quite a talent!" - Angela Hecht

Ashley Fornell's fiance Jason plucked two pink zinnias from a neighboring garden just before their first date. This was the premise for their Save-the-Date card, custom-designed to show two pink zinnias in the two zeros of the year 2003. Little did Jason know, the pink zinnia is the symbol for "lasting affection". This theme was carried throughout the wedding invitation as well. The guests opened a textured white folded envelopment with a die-cut zinnia in the middle, peeking through to a vellum overlay of zinnias bursting with color. Under the vellum was the invitation which featured a lovely garden photo of Winterthur on the back. All the cards thereafter showcased another garden spot at the mansion. The wedding program featured a lovely spring photo of the couple's church.

"Kim, did I tell you how much I loved the invitations? They far exceeded anything I could have imagined. They reflected my personality and are just gorgeous. Thank you so much for creating them. I love them!!! You did an amazing job and have a great talent. Thank you!"
- Ashley Fornell
